Location: Located at the bottom of the Loire Valley in the dept of Indre. This area is largely agricultural and we are surrounded by fields of wheat, sunflowers and maize which prosper well on the rich clay and chalk land.

Description:A stunning 15 acre lake offering fabulous carp fishing for the more discerning Carper. Situated in 40 acres of woodland and water meadows,Etang du Mèe is tree lined and home to around 500 carp plus catfish up to 80lb and a few sturgeon up to 30lb. The carp stock consists of both mirrors and commons up to the high 40's with several expected to break through the 50lb barrier in the 2010 season. The carp are all young fish and renowned for their fighting ability and are growing at a rate of between 5lb and 10lb per year. Our water quality is superb with our springs being filtered through chalk before entering the lakes giving a rich environment and helping the carp develop naturally. Water levels are also maintained at a good level throughout the year and even in a very dry year we are fortunate in maintaining good levels of water throughout.With just 6 anglers allowed (up to 8 for a single party booking) there is plenty of water for each angler with opportunities to move swims during the week and also partake in some interesting stalking. We are a family run venue and work hard to ensure all our anglers have a great holiday.....thats probably why we enjoy around 90% rebooking.

Stock:Fish stock consist of at least 500 carp plus 12 catfish and 6 sturgeon.
